My anthropomorphization method

ねむ
Translated to English·

Looking at works under the "anthropomorphism" tag, I felt, "Maybe my method of anthropomorphism is unique?" so I am writing this down as a memo.

Other people seem to place importance on keeping the original shape of the object when they anthropomorphize things.

On the other hand, when I anthropomorphize things, I consciously "break them down" and "make associations," aiming for "outfits that could just barely exist in the real world or in history"!

Using a pumpkin as an example, here is what goes on inside my head 🎃

〈Breaking it down〉
A pumpkin's color composition consists of orange (the flesh) and green (the stem). Therefore, I make orange the base color and recreate the stem with a green ribbon.

〈Making associations〉
・Pumpkin → Round shape → Short bob haircut or a rounded skirt
・Pumpkin → Pumpkin carriage or Cinderella → Western-style outfit
・Pumpkin → Jack-o'-lantern or Halloween

Based on all of that, here is the illustration I created!

In short, while avoiding simply making them wear the original shape as clothing, I actively incorporate concepts associated with the original object into the clothing design and background. This is how I always create my anthropomorphic illustrations~

P.S.
It's probably just my imagination that I've been seeing an unusual amount of anthropomorphic things ever since making this post 😅

For mine, it's not "I expressed this anthropomorphization in this form," but rather, "This is how this anthropomorphization turned out, so please use it to season your work." That's why the word "anthropomorphization" is included in the prompt exactly as it is.
Also, it serves to bypass prompt syntax checks and things like that.

I see! There are so many different methods based on different ways of thinking!

I'm kind of like that too!
I don't go quite as far as to anthropomorphize them, though.
But in my case, I sometimes connect them with personalities and gestures!

I'm glad we think alike! Linking it to personality and gestures is such a great idea! I'll try that too! ✨
