About Gallery Updates

It seems to be an issue with my environment, but although I'm receiving like notifications and the site should have updated, the last image in the gallery is stuck at 4/2. Is there a way to update it besides clearing the cache?
If anyone has resolved this with the same symptoms, I would appreciate it if you could share the solution.
