Do you think we are alone on Earth in this vast universe?

This is a fascinating question, I think. Even though we don't have direct proof, given the vastness of the universe, I personally think it's plausible that there is life elsewhere. And you, do you think we are alone, and have you ever witnessed a strange observation of some kind of craft in the sky?

If we consider the vastness of the universe not just in terms of spatial extent but as the extent of space-time including time, then if asked whether there is a possibility of intelligent civilizations other than Earth existing in that universe, I think there is a possibility, but it seems quite difficult for them to exist close enough to be able to recognize each other.
The speed of light, which conveys information, is not very fast when considered against the scale of the universe.

When you say that it's possible there are other civilizations, adding that they do exist, but not close enough, don't you think that distances are ultimately not as important as commonly imagined, and that we are in a finite universe?

The existence of another Earth is proven in the thesis. This is because if the existence of another Earth is not acknowledged, the universe itself would cease to exist.
