Kemono Levels
Level 1 (Low Kemono / Kemomimi)
The base is completely human. Just animal ears (kemomimi) on the head or a tail growing from the rear. The skin remains human, and there is no muzzle (the protruding nose and mouth area characteristic of animals) on the face.
Level 2 (Slight Kemono)
Paw pads, claws, or partial body hair (feathers) can be seen on parts of the body (such as the hands and feet). The facial features are still human-based, but a subtle touch of wildness is added.
Level 3 (Medium Kemono / Beastman)
From here begins the mainstream "Kemono (Furry)" path.
The entire body is covered in fluffy fur (or scales/feathers), and there is a distinct muzzle on the face. However, the body shape is a bipedal humanoid.
Level 4 (High Kemono)
The skeleton (especially digitigrade stance where the hind leg joints look like reverse joints) and facial features are much closer to actual animals. They are often unclothed, and the wild elements are very strong.
And this is my favorite level.
Level 5 (Almost Wild / Quadrupedal)
The appearance is completely that of an animal, or they walk on four legs. However, they understand human speech or possess high intelligence, reaching the level of a "sapient animal."
