Too long

みみなも弥生
Translated to English·

It takes over 15 minutes to generate an image.
Isn't that way too long?
Before, it used to generate in about a minute...

Maybe the server is busy. I gave up because it couldn’t generate even after waiting over 30 minutes 😞🌀

Other servers are used more, e.g., by Meta, Gemini. Yet it never takes that long.

Indeed, something seems off, doesn't it🤔?

I have the same problem.

It just took me 20 minutes. 😠 They must be insane! It doesn't take this long anywhere else.

Indeed, recently it takes too long to generate images.

I understand your frustration with the long generation times, but comparing this service to world-leading tech giants like Google (Gemini) and Meta is based on very different premises.
First, the notion that "Meta searches for available servers worldwide" is technically incorrect. Both Meta and Google operate their own massive data centers worth trillions of yen, building dedicated computing environments with overwhelming financial resources, which enables fast processing. It is physically and financially impossible for an ordinary service operator to provide the same infrastructure.
Currently, the 15-minute or longer wait is likely due to a surge in users causing a processing queue rather than poor server quality. The maintenance cost of GPU servers required for image generation is enormous, and to keep the service free or low-cost for users, waiting times due to processing capacity limits are an unavoidable trade-off.
It is true that "other services don't take this long," but that refers to large-scale general-purpose AIs. This service has unique appeal that large companies lack—such as specific art styles or distinctive outputs—which is why many users are willing to spend time using it, resulting in congestion. If you only value speed, use a major AI service; if you seek this service's unique outputs, waiting time should be accepted as a trade-off.
