"Five fingers" is a surprisingly difficult definition. Index finger, middle finger, ring finger, pinky, and thumb make five. But if you count the fingers based on their visual similarity, you get the trap of ending up with six fingers, including the thumb. When that's not clearly defined, or in compositions where it's difficult, it gets distorted even further. It's still a bit tough for AI, that is.
