About the review of submitted images...

There's a delay when reviewing uploaded images—does that mean they're checking them visually? If so, that must be tough.

I don't know how this site does it, but AI shape detection doesn't work well 🕊️ It's easy to recognize 🕊️🤔

That's not hard to imagine! That said, there would be limits to visual inspection as numbers increase, so perhaps at some point it would be realistic to run things through some kind of mechanical filter and rely on reports and self-regulation for what slips through—just my uninformed speculation as a layperson 🙏 In any case, I have nothing but appreciation for your hard work in development and management, SNoW-sama 🫡

Not this site, but on another site, a drawing of a space station got banned💥🤔 How is a space station obscene? Can you even draw a violent space station?🤣 It's nonsense! By the way, the button drawing I posted here was also rejected🕊️

I'll do my best

I'm sure aliens use it too. It reminded me of those aliens in old sci-fi movies who could get pregnant just from shaking hands.

Right now it's AI-assisted plus me checking manually. Posts have been increasing to the point where manual verification can't keep up anymore, so I'm planning to gradually switch to automated AI screening. The accuracy is still iffy—sometimes too strict, sometimes too lenient—but efficiency improves significantly, so I'm thinking of shifting more toward that.

So that's how it is indeed! Thanks for all your hard work!

I'm not sure about the trade-offs with advertisements, but while we don't want to increase your workload, we do want to promote the service itself, so we'll continue posting frequently! Hopefully we can find a good balance!

Also, I was thinking—if something gets rejected during review, wouldn't it be better for the poster to somehow know about it, so they can realize "Ah, so this isn't allowed"? What do you think? (Or rather, I wonder how many rejections happen daily...)

It's certainly frustrating when you don't know why you were rejected! We'll add a feature in the future that lets you see the general reason why.

Here is a quick update regarding gallery posts.

When you post an image, if our AI determines that both the content and the prompt are "All Ages Appropriate," it will now be posted directly to the new gallery top page. Otherwise, it will be sent for manual review as before.

The pop-up you see when posting will also change depending on the result. If it is All Ages Appropriate, it will say "Posted to the gallery," and if manual review is required, it will display the same message as before: "Your post has been received. Please note that it may take up to approximately 24 hours for review."

Good work. By the way, if the prompt is set to private, does AI-based syntax checking still apply?

@mini burger

Even if your prompt is set to private, AI-based syntax checking will still be performed as usual.

Wonderful! I was just thinking that the implementation was quick, and now it all makes sense! Thank you for your hard work on the improvements! 🫡
